Our Story

Why Nookly exists

Most home organization brands are built for people with too much house.

We started Nookly for everyone else.

The 600-square-foot problem

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you live in a small apartment, a starter home, a dorm, an RV, or a bedroom you share with roommates. You don't have a walk-in pantry. You don't have a mudroom. Your kitchen is a hallway. Your bathroom doesn't have a closet. Your bedroom doubles as your office, your gym, and your craft room.

Every "home organization influencer" you've ever scrolled past has a 3,000-square-foot home with a dedicated cleaning closet. The products they promote don't fit in your actual life.

That's the gap Nookly fills.

What we do differently

Every product we carry has to pass three tests before it earns a place on the site:

  1. It has to solve a real, common small-space problem. We don't carry general home decor. Every item earns its spot by fixing something specific — the chaotic spice cabinet, the wasted under-sink real estate, the cable mess behind the desk.
  2. It has to work without damage. We're renters too. Most of our catalog is no-drill, no-holes, security-deposit safe. The products that aren't are clearly tagged.
  3. The before-and-after has to be honest. If the demo only works in a staged photo and not a real apartment, we don't list it.

How we operate

We're small. We answer our own emails. We test every product in our own apartments before listing it. We ship from fulfillment partners around the world to keep prices fair — which means our shipping is a little slower than Amazon, but our prices are a lot better.

We're not trying to be Wayfair. We're trying to be the brand you actually recommend to a friend who just moved into a tiny place and doesn't know where to start.

If something doesn't work for you, email us. We'll make it right.
